關於統計的學習

統計學是從事量化研究的基礎科學

這是今天google "SEM"時看到的某個統計諮詢中心部落格，
寫的內容以及所呈現的圖片(上圖)吸引了我~
自己目前應該就要如部落格中所說的，
穩扎穩打的學習統計和研究方法，
在統計方面，有些基礎的統計學概念要先弄清楚，
再依自己需求進一步學習進階統計~

Balance CAT信度收案計畫

預計7/24, 7/25, 7/31, 8/1到署北收案，
目前intra-rater的部份我跟香香需各再收1位個案，
inter-rater的部份需再收6位個案，由我和Jenny一起分擔。
Jenny的BI-3也會再補收我和香香intra-rater的部份，需再各收兩名個案。

統計學補習課程

昨天開始上第一次的統計學補習課程，
3小時的數學，從機率和機率密度函數開始，
好像回到高中時期補習數學的日子~
可能是上學期的生統老師是數學系背景的關係，
已經習慣一些符號了。
可是昨天補習班老師做了一些積分的運算，
自己還是有點生疏，可能還要再複習一下~
統計學其實就是數學的應用，
也許補習班的課程是以提升相關科系大學生們的分數為主，
然而對我而言，這個課程能幫助我用數學了解一些統計的觀念，
雖然並不輕鬆，有作業，也會考試，
但我是一種多學多看的心態在學習，所以還覺得有趣。

Introduction outline for the Balance CAT MDC manuscript

Title: Reliability and Minimal Detectable Change of the Balance Computerized Adaptive Test in Patients with Stroke
Outline for Introduction:

1.      The importance of measuring balance efficiently and precisely in patients with stroke.

2.      The advantages of CAT

3.      The introduction of Balance CAT

4.      The introduction of intra-rater and inter-rater reliability and minimal detectable change (MDC)

5.      (1) Rationale of study: The intra-rater and inter-rater reliability of the Balance CAT in patients with stroke have not been examined. This shortcoming limits this measure to be used with confidence to assess the balance function of patients with stroke over time and across settings. Moreover, the unknown MDC of the Balance CAT limits the interpretation of the change in scores in an individual patient. (2) Purpose of study: To examine the intra-rater and inter-rater reliability and MDC of the Balance CAT in patients with stroke.

關於Balance CAT信度研究

這個暑假就要將Balance CAT信度研究告一段落了~
在修改HBSF MDC論文的同時，
也打算開始撰寫Balance CAT信度相關的論文，
題目暫定: Reliability and Minimal Detacable Change of the Balance Computerized Adaptive Test in Patients with Stroke。
這一篇論文，應該是目前手上研究的最後一篇了~
寫中風相關評估工具心理計量特性論文也快兩年了，
原本以為自己做不到，之前走小兒領域的我，
因為想作CAT相關的研究，一路走到現在~
收案和寫論文，這兩年來過得還算蠻充實的~

修改HBSF MDC論文

目前已經收集到所有co-authors的建議，
也因此發現自己之前所寫的真的是[初稿]，
現在已經針對建議做補充及修改，
雖然不到重寫，但也有那樣的感覺~
不過跟之前比起來會比較清楚~
感謝所有co-authors的幫忙!

Clinical Model of Attention and Memory and Idea of CAFAM-S

* Sohlberg和Mateer（1987, 2001) 提出「注意力臨床模式」將注意力區分成五種向度：

1. 集中性注意力（focused attention)
2. 持續性注意力 (sustained attention)
3. 選擇性注意力 (selective attention)
4. 交替性注意力 (alternating attention)
5. 分配性注意力 (divided attention)

* Lezak (1995) 提出臨床記憶測驗的分類：

Preliminary idea: 考慮結合兩個model，設計中風病人專屬(stroke-specific)，與日常生活相關的注意力及記憶力評量項目，包含self- or proxy-report 問卷和performance-based test，暫名 Clinical Assessment of Functional Attention and Memory for Stroke (CAFAM-S)。
